We Did It!

For those of you who may not know yet.......We are proud to announce that we are going to be having another baby after 2 1/2 years of tears and frustration. We found out just over 3 weeks ago and have not been able to keep it a secret. I had my first appointment last friday (25th) and everything looks great! The baby had a very strong heartbeat and looked good. We are so excited! So my due date was moved back to December 13th. We had originally thought it would be Thanksgiving but not anymore. So that puts me at 8 weeks! I must say, this pregnancy has already been different from the first. I wasn't very sick with Brandon but this time around I feel a little nauseated in the mornings and sometimes in the evenings, nothing too bad though. So we will see how that goes.
Brandon is way excited too! We decided to tell him last weekend and we showed him the pictures of the ultrasound and explained to him that mommy has a baby in her tummy. He asked us how it was going to get out......OH out of the mouth of a 4 year old! We told him we go to the hospital and the doctor takes it out. He seemed satisfied with that answer. He was so excited that he carried around the pictures and told everyone that it was his brother or sister. He hasn't said much since then but when he sees the picture he remembers. He also informed everyone that it wasn't going to be here until Christmas because "it has to grow big like me" I sure hope "it" doesn't grow that big by Christmas. :) I hope he stays that excited as it grows closer. He has been an only child for a while now. So I will keep you all informed as to the goings on. But the next few appointments won't be that exciting, just listen to the heartbeat and that is about it. But I am sure I will have something to say as the weeks go on....afterall....there are a lot left.
