As Per Request....

As per the request of my wonderful cousin Staci, I have taken somemore belly shots, no not the getting drunk kind, but pregnancy kind. Actually Brandon took them, don't mind the shot of the TV in the background. Andy was watching something and I was ready to change my clothes so we just took them and dealt with it. So here are a couple shots of the "baby" according to Brandon. I hope you enjoy. I will also take this moment to update.......I went to the doctor yesterday and he said that we will see what the baby looks like next Monday and decide if we still want to start that day or not. I think he will because he is worried about him getting too big. I will be having another ultrasound at 8:30 in the morning and then I will meet with him. I hope he still has the plan to start me because I have already made plans with my work and everything to not come in that day. I am still at a 3 and 80% so no progress in the last week, kind of depressing. This weekend I was able to get my crib bumper pad finished, THANKS MOM. I was also able to get some clothes washed. I think we are getting close to being ready for this little guy to come. Well, I must be off to work now. You can all pray that this baby comes sometime this week so I don't have to be started. That is what we are all hoping for. Then that takes C-Section out as an option too. Love you all.

The Christmas Countdown!

So Brandon has been bugging me to make another Christmas countdown for about 3 weeks. I told him last week that we would make one this week. He was so excited when I pulled out the stamps and the papercutter and started making the strips to be able to put it together. Then once we get them all cut out we use my stamps and stamp Christmas designs on them. It took us about an hour and a half to do them all considering we had to do 35 of them. We made some orange and brown ones to countdown to Thanksgiving and then the rest are red, white, and green until we get to Christmas. It ended up being pretty long once it was all put together. The finished product picture isn't the best. I don't know if it the lighting or what but hopfully you can see how long it is.

Baby countdown.....

Well, it looks as though my little baby count down is completely wrong. We are down to 13 days, that is right people I said 13! I had another appointment today and we did an ultrasound and they say it looks as though the baby is 8 lbs. Don't ask me how that is possible when I didn't gain 3 lbs since the last ultrasound. But whatever! So my dr is worried about the baby getting too big and maybe having to do a C-Section, don't really like that option so he has moved my date up from the 6th to the 1st. I told him to keep going and the 21st looked good, he laughed and said he wanted to make sure the baby would be able to have no problems when he did come. So I have another appointment in a week, well on Monday, and he will do another stress test and we will see what happens then. On the 1st he will do another ultrasound and determine whether a C-Section is needed. I am hoping that we (by that I mean, the baby) decides to just come on his own before the 1st because I don't want to be "started" or have a C-Section. So far things seem to be looking as though that might be a possibility. I am already dialated to a 3 and 80%, which he was kind of suprised to see. So wish me luck! Of course I will keep you all updated as to the happenings. As far as the house purchase, I have decided to turn that over to Andy because it was really starting to stress me out to the max and I don't want to deal with all of that too. Last I heard we were still hoping to close next week, which would be good considering the next week the baby will be here. I told Andy I would do my best to try to get most if not all of the packing done this weekend and then we would be ready to go, maybe the packing will put me in labor. At least one can hope, right :)

The new house!

That is right people we are going to be moving! I know we are a little crazy with a baby coming and all. But what can I say? We are hoping to close on the new house on the 25th, which is the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, and since we weren't really planning on going anywhere for Thanksgiving, we will paint. Believe me it needs it! I have posted some pictures of the colors the people painted, they are crazy! I feel as though I would be living in a rainbow. I really hope we can keep the baby where he is until we are official owners of this new house. If not then I guess we will have to work it out somehow. The house is twice as big as the one we are currently in, once the basement is fininshed anyway. Right now it only has 2 bedrooms so the baby will be sleeping in a playpen in our room until we are able to get a bedroom finished downstairs for Brandon. At that point I will be able to finally decorate Brandon's room with all of his cute CARS stuff. We will be decorating the nursery, well at least painting it, and then when we move Brandon out of it I will be able to decorate it too. I hope we can do that soon, I am really excited to get the many cute decorations up on both of my little boy's rooms. As for now I am just hoping we can get in soon, I want to try to get things organized before the blessed event. My doctor has said that if nothing happens before I will be induced on the 5th of December. I have another ultrasound next Tuesday so that could all change. I have forgotten how stressful buying a house is. I really don't think it was this bad last time. I didn't think it took this long to get into it. It was about 7 years ago though so maybe my memory is fuzzy. I will be sure to keep you all updated as to when we move and whatnot. There are some pictures to follow.....I hope you all enjoy the many colors of the house. But don't enjoy them too much most of them will be changed. :) Love you all!

The lovely colors!

Stairway going downstairs from front door. Lovely mint green.

One of the bedrooms, same green as living room and hallway. They really like this color.

Living room, same lovely green as staircase and hallway.

Bathroom, might be keeping for now. Or maybe darker blue.

One of the bedrooms upstairs, for those of you who know me obviously changing this one.

The kitchen, not too bad, keeping it for now.

The Stairway as you walk in the front door.

More Excitement in the Hadlock Household.....

So about a month ago we had a guy knock on our door and ask us if we might be interested in selling our house. You see, he is wanting to build condos on the property next to us and wanted to aquire ours as well to build more on. We had been debating about it for a while and decided we were going to sell in about 6 months so we decided that if he wanted it he could have it. That is right folks we have sold our home. It is a little exciting and scary at the same time, we are extremely comfortable in our house of 7 years, but it will be nice to move on to bigger and better pastures. So here I am about 4 weeks to having a baby and we are house hunting. That has been an adventure, there are some people out there who need to consult a decorator that is for sure. We have decided to put in an offer on a house the needs the basement to be finished, that way Andy can have his projects and I can have a bigger house once it is done. But don't worry his projects won't disrupt my life so much as the closet did. He will be downstairs and I will be living happily upstairs. At least I can hope. :) By the way, we have stopped decorating the current house, so Brandon got his room painted and that was the end of it. He now has to wait for the new house to get his stickers on the wall, he wasn't too excited about that. I will keep you all informed as to the house dilema as it continues. I just hope that the first offer goes through and we can start that process and maybe get in before the little one decides to join our crazy life. By the way he is still nameless. We haven't really talked about it lately, a lot of stuff going on. If you catch my drift!

Baby Update.....

So I had another dr appointment yesterday. They did an ultrasound to check to make sure he was doing okay as far as the diabeties issue goes. He passed with flying colors. My blood pressure is still down, and I am losing weight. Who know you could loose weight and make a baby at the same time. I do have to go back in of Friday to monitor the baby and I am sure that will be good too. My doc just doesn't want something to sneak up on me like last time. He did say that if we didn't have the baby by Dec. 6th he would start me. Not too thrilled about that, being started wasn't so much fun last time, but what can I do? Not much, what the dr says usually goes. They said that he weighs 5 1/2 pounds, I think he weighs much more than that, he is hard to carry around all the time. So it seems as though all is well in the baby department, it will be a long 4 weeks, but I think I can do it. :) So the baby count down is wrong, just subtract 7 days and then it will be right again. Until next time........

Halloween 2008

So my mom had her Halloween party on Saturday. We all got together and ate some chilli and homemade rootbeer. My friends, Miranda and Jeff, came and brought their 2 boys, Aidan and Harry. Brandon was excited to see them, it had been awhile. Here are some pics of the silly boys in their costumes....Harry as a spider, Aidan as Batman, and Brandon as Scooby-Doo. Of course the kids just ate candy all night long. There was an excellent shot of Harry with chocolate all over his face but I didn't get it fast enough. It would have been way cute, oh well, maybe next time.
