Winter Or Fall?

We just got home from driving down to Salt Lake, to take Andy back down to work. And this is what the canyon had to offer. The first picture was on the way home...a little more snow to be found falling at least. On the way down there were some pretty awesome pictures to be had, if I felt like stopping and actually taking some good ones. I pulled off the side of the road and Andy shot some out the car window. The one on the top we were stopped because of a crash so I was able to get a good snow with the leaves in the background. Pretty awesome if you ask me. Of course the crash reminded me that even if the snow isn't sticking to highway it still can be slick. I guess I better prepare myself for the snow. It is coming!

Let the games begin...

Brandon started flag football yesterday. We (by we I mean Andy) was excited, they do flag football by grade, not age, like everything else and since he in now in First Grade he can play. I double checked with the Rec Center when I signed him up to make sure because he is only 5 not 6 like most First Grader, she said that they go by grade and not age. SWEET! So of course I had to jump on the chance to get him in the coveted sport of football.

I tried to get some good pictures of the game, but with Tyler and the game being on the other side of field most of the time. I only got a few. But they are cute non-the-less. They had a practice on Monday night and when we first got there he was a little scared, this was a new thing for me he has always been the kid to just jump in and do anything. After talking to him for a minute I found out that he thought it was the same football that daddy plays and that he sees on TV, the see if you can knock the teeth out of the other guy kind of football. I explained to him that he was just going to have some flags hanging from his waist and that he was only going to be touched, he was okay with the whole football idea. He seems like he is having a lot of fun.

Huddle Up! As you can see he is scoping out his target early!

They gave everyone a shot to play everywhere. He was the ball handler on this play. He decided to run the wrong way but he learned that was an oops pretty fast.

For most of the game he played Center, or hiker, as he likes to call it. That was okay with him because that is what daddy plays too.

Here is a video of him at practice on Monday. It is way cute! Again running wrong way, but figuring it out soon enough. Good Job Buddy!
